Shannon Day aka Krista from the 90's LOTL

I swapped messages with her on myspace a couple times a few months ago. She is a producer now. She also has a new CD coming out. It's called "The Danaan", which you can read about on her website if interested. www.shannonday.com

Anyways, she still looks pretty good. For those who thought she was hot back then. haha
She was actually pretty nice in the brief message exchange I had with her. I dated a younger girl briefly a year or so ago that reminded me alot of her because she had the same eyes and hair and body style. haha I think that's why I was attracted to her. Anyways, just sayin'.

Did I mention the new movie sucks sleestak balls?

The website you listed goes to a personal biography for a Microsoft Marketing Manager.

The correct site is http://www.shannon-day.com

My bad. Thanks for clearing that up. I just glanced at the address in the browser before I made that post.

The 1991 LOTL TV Porter Family

Obviously from most of the lackluster reviews of this series, I doubt there will be a dvd release of this. I checked Amazon and couldn't find it. IMDB lists 2 seasons in 1991 & 1992, anybody know if this was ever produced?

There were 6 VHS tapes released with 2 episodes each a few years ago. Each video came with a poster. I have those, and like I mentioned in another thread, I have homemade DVDs of every episode from both seasons that someone made for me. However they were recorded from television. They are very watchable though. Me and my daughters have watched them all several times.

When you consider some of the crap shows that get released on DVD, the 90's LOTL was better than alot of those. There were alot of good stories on the episodes, and once you get use to the atmosphere of the show which is totally different from the studio sets of the original, then the show grows on you. The 90's version didn't try to be a carbon copy of the 70's show. And why would it have tried to be?

I still like the 70's version better, because I grew up watching it. I even love season 3 despite the inconsistencies it has with seasons 1 & 2, and the quality of the sets an costumes. The 90's version is very worthy of DVD release as well is all I'm saying. It's like an alternate Land of the Lost, where the sleestak are different. The 90's version totally destroys the new LOTL movie, for sure.

Well, as a TV LOTL fan, I agree. The movie was an embarassment to the LOTL franchise name. Let's hope it doesn't destroy the possibility for a TV show remake. I've almost had enough of Hollywood. Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino or Morgan Freeman's Bucket List are exceptions. Those low-budget movies always have a better script, whereas the blockbusters with explosions and special effects still suck. Oh, by the way, you can still buy a ticket at the box office for Up and Star Trek, not WF's LOTL.

I didn't see UP. But I watched Star Trek twice. And I would have went again. It was pretty sweet. Will Ferrel's LOTL should be buried in the desert with all those Atari 2600 "E.T." cartridges. I can't imagine anybody buying the DVD's for it when it comes out.
