Safari Shooter Shooter

This is the Land of the Lost Safari Shooter made by Larami in 1975.

I'm not exactly sure why they called it a Safari Shooter, since the Marshalls weren't on safari, and there wasn't much shooting going on. I think "Land of the Lost Pinball game" would have been a fine name instead.

Made in Hong Kong, this is actually one of the more sturdy toys produced for the show. The thick plastic construction of the toy has held up remarkably well, and this one that is still sealed in it's original bag looks like it came right out of the warehouse.

Originally selling for the $1.29 price imprinted right on the header card, this is one of my favorite Land of the Lost items, and a veritable bargain when it first sold.
